As well as the vicinity of Suginomori shrine, near the Takarada Ebisu Shrine also preparation of Bettara-ichi had begun. Bettara-zuke is a kind of koji pickled radish, and Bettara-ichi means Bettara festival. In Bettara-ichi, stalls are lined up over the 300 m in the east and west or north and south. The southern end of Bettara-ichi extends to street Suginomori shrine. On the day there is a variety of street vendors other than Bettara-zuke, it becomes considerable crowded. It 's manners to cut thick Bettara-zuke.
Last year of takarada-ichi is here.
