ストロボだけでは微妙なライティングが難しいので、以前、RING48というLED48個のリングライトを買った。これは、どちらかというと接写用で、影ができないという特徴がある。
今回は、LED160個のYN160を買ってみた。
バーンドアが4枚付いているが光量調節よりもトレーシングペーパーを付けるときに役立ちそうである。説明書には1280ルーメンとあるから結構明るい。

フィルターは4枚付属していて、1枚がディフューザーになっている。

電池は6本。SONYのビデオカメラ用のバッテリーが使え、パナソニックのビデオカメラ用のバッテリーアダプターが付属している。

ACアダプターが使えると勘違いして別売りのを買ってしまった。本体のどこを探してもDC電源コンセントがない。使っていないコンセントを見つけてきてパナソニックのバッテリーアダプターに付けてみた。＋－の極性は、互換充電器の写真で確認した。久しぶりの半田付けである。相変わらず半田の仕上がりが汚い。
I have misunderstood that the AC adapter is available, I bought the AC adapter sold separately. There is no DC power outlet even looking for anywhere in the body. 電池の代わりに手作りAC電源コンセントでもLEDらいとは点灯した。
左のボタンでバッテリー残量、右のボタンが電源スイッチ、その左にある+、ーボタンで光量を15段階に調整できる。
LED lights were also lit on AC power.

ディフューザーのみで撮影。影や反射の様子がわかるので小物撮影には便利だろう。

ディフューザーを外し、レフ板でバウンズ。だいぶ光量が低下するので、三脚を使うかISO感度を上げる必要がある。影だけでなく、背景の紙の質感も大いに変わる。
Remove the diffuser, bounce by reflector. Since the amount of light is reduced considerably, it is necessary to use a tripod or increase the ISO sensitivity. By bounce, not only in shadow, also vary greatly texture of paper background.
