ラグ用の潤滑油を少量のテンションボルトに垂らしてからヘッドの張り具合をスパナで調節する。音程はピッチパイプで確認する。コンガの小さいほうからE、C、Gに合わせた。人によって好みがあるが、練習用としてはこれが良い。しかし、人前でチューニングを始めるとよく驚かれるものだ。
After dropping a small amount of the lug lube in each tension bolts, adjust the tension of the congas with a spanner. I check the pitch with a chromatic pitch pipe. I was adjusted to the height of the E, C and G from the smaller conga. It's different from person to person, but this is good for my practice. I begin tuning in front of people, it is surprised often.
