入谷朝顔市 Iriya Morning Glory Fair ― 2015年07月07日 22時18分08秒
用事が終わってから、入谷に直行。夕方なので、ほとんどの朝顔の花は萎んでしまい、花を開いているのは夕顔と琉球朝顔（宿根朝顔）。庭には、去年植えた琉球朝顔の1本が元気に伸び、去年入谷で買った鉢の朝顔の種が背丈ぐらいまで伸び、これ以上植えるところがないので、吊り下げられるよう燕朝顔鳥籠作りを購入。

道の駅の露店で買ったブリキのチェロ弾き。ウェブで検索したがヒットしない。作者の名前が付いていないので、土産物かもしれないが結構良くできている。高さ18cm。

花蔓草（はなつるそう）
冬に貰ってきた10cmくらい茎が発根し、春には40cmくらいにまっすぐと伸びた。庭に直植えしたら、初夏には茎が急速に四方に伸び、手に負えなくなった。ポールプランタースタンドに乗せた直径45cmの鉢に植え替え、長い茎をきりおとしたら、なんとか落ち着き赤い花を次々とさかせている。久しぶりの日光が名前にふさわしく、気持ちよさそうである。

木工作家関口正保氏 Mr. Masayasu Sekiguchi woodworking artist ― 2015年07月12日 20時39分30秒
7月11日、木工作家関口正保氏の自宅ショールームを訪問した。前回訪問したのは2011年9月で同じように暑い日であった。京王多摩センター駅からわかりやすい道と記憶していたのがあだとなり、間違った道を850m進んでしまった。関口氏と連絡がとれ、850m戻り無事到着できた。
前回は木工玩具が主で、2013年12月の個展では大人も楽しめる木工作品が加わり、今回はライトスタンドなどが増えていた。

大腿太透翅（おおももぶとすかしば）の雄。一見蜂と間違える。蛾である。
Melittia nipponica （O-momobuto-sukasiba, Meaning that Big thick-thigh see-through-wing moth) male.It mistakes that it is the bee. It is a moth.
前足で葉につかまり、ホバリングしているところ。
Hanging to leaves with forefoot, and hovering.
背と後足の腿節に長い毛がある。

入谷の朝顔市で買ってきた朝顔が毎朝咲いている。今日は少し早めに起きてみた。

花屋で暑さと乾燥に強い花を尋ねたらポーチュラカを奨められた。何のことはない、マツバボタンのことである。花滑り莧（はなすべりひゆ）とも言われる。
月曜日に7株買ってきて浅くて大きめの鉢に並べて植えたら、今朝、茎はしっかりと立ち上がり花を咲かせていた。
When I went to buy flowers those are strong in heat and dry, florist recommended the Portulaca. Portulaca is called Matsubabotann or Hanasuberihiyu in Japanese.
On Monday I have been bought 7 sets, planted side by side in a large and shallow bowl, this morning, stems tightly rise and bloom.
