拝殿
Hall of worship.
天水桶。火災が多かった江戸時代に防火用水を貯めるために町内に設置が義務付けられたのが発端のようだ。桶というと木製を指す。これは金属製なので天水鉢が正確であるが、金属製だからといって風呂鉢とは呼ばないように天水桶と呼びたい。
Tensuioke. A rain barrel.
At the Edo era there were many fire, in order to store the fire protection water, it is a beginning that the locate of the rain barrel is obliged in town. Character that 桶 (oke) refers to the wood (木). Since this is made of metal (金), it is accurate to use the character of the 鉢 (hachi) rather than the character of the 桶 (oke). As it called 風呂桶 rather than the 風呂蜂 just because the metal, I like to call 天水桶.
手水舎
Temizuya or Chouzuya. A Shinto water ablution place for ceremonial purification.
