このボンゴを買ったのは1992年ころだと思う。ボンゴは口径の小さいほうをmacho、大きいほうをhembraと呼ぶ。長いこと預かって貰っていたのだが、家で敲きたくなって、久しぶりに家に戻ってきた。
2007年に皮を自分で張り替えた。両方とも2mmの厚い皮にしたのだが、machoをもっと高音にチューニングしたいので、1mmくらいの厚さの皮が良かったと思い続けている。
I think I bought this Bongos in about 1992. The smaller drum is called a macho, the larger called hembra. Although this had been entrusted for a long time, I have feel like beating in the house, and returned it to the house.
I was re-covering the head in 2007. I have re-covered both in the thick of 2 mm head, but I want to tune in more treble the macho. I've been thinking for a long time that 1 mm thickness head of macho was rather good.
